Junior Heritage Keeper Award

Every year Pensacola Heritage Foundation is a proud participant in the Escambia County History Fair. PHF member Jim Gulley reviews and judges the entries. His recommendations are reviewed by the Board of Directors and we award a winner with a check in the amount of $100. Additionally they receive a certificate of appreciation and a family membership for one year to PHF. This year’s award was given to co-participants Nik Howell and Sam Rice. Their entry was entitled “Carl Von Ossietzky: Exposing Germany” And they each received a check for $50. The award ceremony was held at Washington High School on February 7, 2017 with Vice President Barbara Fitzpatrick presenting our Junior Heritage Keeper award.
